What dreams do you have for the future of the arts in Plattsburgh? 

  1. Music concerts with skateboarding.  Park takeovers with concerts (Punk & Metal)  and kids skating. 

  2. A vibrant art/music community with a central space for artists to exhibit art and perform.  

  3. Digital art Conference

  4. Social Media and Web instructional conferences. 

  5. Yarn/fabric bombing, chalk art festivals, more public art, more performance and music, wearable art shows.  

  6. Public music performance spaces

  7. Safe spaces for alternative/punk music practice and live shows

  8. Comedy shows, improv classes and alcohol free events

  9. Eco-friendly Events, Tech moves here and stays

  10. Places for music that aren't bars

  11. Play festivals all summer long,

  12. I want plattsburgh to be the hottest spot between NYC and Montreal, weekly art walks, street art and performance

  13. Commercial galleries, cross border exchange, experience and opportunity. 

  14. Arts create a “pride in place” more the better, public art also attracts new residents

  3. People flock toward small businesses rather than corporations.

  4. A network of people to reach out to create and beautify the city with learning opportunities.

  5. Taking it out of the shadows.

  6. Joint exhibits, collaborations and merging of organizations.

  7. More classes and training.

  8. Bridge the gap between the college, local schools and community artists!
